Norton Records is proud to announce the release of the JFK 50th Anniversary Collection- on grassy knoll green vinyl (and CD!). The album includes two different unissued Hasil Adkins JFK tribute recordings among the fifteen soulful sixties country / hillbilly rarities herein. Join us at the record launch, as they say in the business, to be held at Top Ten Records in Dallas, Texas. One man band idol Homer Henderson will be live in person, performing his legendary "Lee Harvey Was A Friend Of Mine" and other baleful anthems, and we will preview the entire record in memory of the dearly departed. Top Ten Records was where Oswald purchased his ticket to the Dick Clark Caravan of Stars show, which was set for that very same evening. Stop in at the Texas Theatre while you are here. Lots of surprises are in store. Three radio shows preview the album. West coast preview is on the INTOXICA show with Howie Pyro-- tune in Tuesday Nov. 12 at 9 PM PST at luxuriamusic.com. Catch a live radio interview with Homer Henderson on MUSIC TO SPAZZ BY on WFMU.org on Nov. 21 at 9 PM. And last but not least check in on Dallas station KNON 89.3 FM (knon.org) at midnight Nov 22nd as Homer joins Miriam from Norton and Randy Reeves from C.O.P.A. on this dark night's Mansion Of Madness radio show, exploring the making of this souvenir album. Streaming worldwide on all three broadcasts. Homer Henderson will also provide a music and memories at LEE HARVEY'S (leeharveys.com) Nov 23, after the Top Ten Records event, starting at 8 PM and going deep into the night.
